GIRL SCOUTS CO-LEADER VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTION
Interested in becoming a Girl Scouts CO-LEADER volunteer?
JOB GOAL: Co-leaders work together to inspire girls to discover what is important to them, connect with their community, and take action to make the world a better place. They organize troop activities with the support of co-troop leader.
Be the leader and help build girls of courage, confidence and character! Co- leader works in partnership with Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore’s Site Director, Kristina Ledezma.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as a positive example for girls and adults by accepting and modeling the Girl Scout Promise and Law in all actions.
Ensures timely online membership registration of all girls and volunteers in troop.
Communicates regularly and works in partnership with troop parents, guardians, community team members and Troop Support staff.
Guides girls using the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) in planning and executing activities appropriate to their interests and abilities that are cooperative, girl-led and learn by doing.
Supports GSSWT product programs and giving campaigns.
Maintains confidentiality of girl and volunteer personal information.

HOURS:
Girls Scouts TROUP meeting is every Monday from 4:30 to 5:30pm at the Nelson Club Site all year round. Arriving no later than 4:15 and staying until program area is cleaned up.
